Finally got around to getting this fat chick to the 1320 a few weeks ago to air her out after the last round of mods and snagged my first 10 second slip. Only change from street trim was dropping the PSI on the tires, didn't even take my son's car seat out the back.

So do I, lol. It's unreal how fast street cars are these days. Used to be a 10 second car was rowdy AF and practically undriveable. This thing drives like stock and isn't even loud at all inside the cabin.
14, D1 blower, cam, fuel, convertor, etc. Full weight, 4100 with me in it. That was only my second pass of the night, was easing into launching it harder feeling out what the nitto's and track would handle. Planned to go for broke on pass #3 but some dipchit blew up on the starting line and proceeded to drive down the entire 1320 pouring oil and coolant the whole way so I just said fk it and went home.
I've got some 15" Hoosier DR2's waiting to go on once I install the rear LCA's/coilovers to clear the smaller wheels. Should see some 1.4x's in the near future with that setup.Permabulk/bloatlord Crew

Cool AF man, livin the dream.
Yea, I feel like YouTube is kind of watering down what people think is fast these days.....I've ridden in several 11 & 12 second cars and they're nuts, but when you watch them on screen they look kind of slow, especially when you've got guys running 6's in "Street cars" lol
People also think that if you don't have 800hp + you aint got chit and let me tell ya, 450hp is PLENTY to have fun.
What's the Camaro making? 600-650 with the blower?

Man it's all about perspective. If I were to hop in a 12 second car and blast through the gears I would have fun, but it wouldn't really feel fast anymore. The same could most likely be said for someone that regularly drives an 8/9 second car and then got in mine. It's a trip how quick you adjust to the power.
This car makes about 750, but my IAT's are holding me back on the big end, I need to get a meth kit on the car so the charge air stays cool downtrack and doesn't pull timing.Permabulk/bloatlord Crew

I think my next toy will be a c6z. With just H/C/I and some 17" bias plies they are far quicker than this in a straight line, then swap tires and get world class track performance to match. I had a c6 base before this and it was a blast, but I needed something with a backseat I could put my kiddo in.

I imagine that has a lot to do with the power delivery. Those PD blowers like what was on your lt4 make stupid torque down low, making it hard to hook, especially with a lighter car like the vette. With a centri blower like I have (or an N/A motor like the ls7) the power delivery is much more linear and easier to mitigate wheelspin. Even more so with a heavy pig like the 5th gen camaros.

Ultima RS kit car with a Chevy LT5 on E85, heads/cam/ported blower/pulley. It made 750whp on that run but I revised the intake and it put down 793hp/811tq only revving to 5.5k on the dyno. It started breaking up and throwing a code for crank position sensor so I have to figure that out. Should be an easy 900whp car at 2490lbs.
