Got Arceus for the Mrs., but I've been putting more time into it than she has. It's kind of addictive, which is weird to say about a pokemon game. The way you can freely run around tossing balls, riding, and fighting is cool. I think it would be awesome if it had an online competitive mode, which is where most of my time eventually goes in Pokemon games.
Last I had was Sun, which was fun, but too easy in campaign. Had some good times battling online though. I haven't been in any hurry to get another pokemon game as they're pretty repetitive and getting easier, but after playing some Arceus, I wonder how Scarlet/Violet is. I'm aware of the bugs and graphics, but since some of you have played it, I wanna get some input.
Do you prefer Arceus or Scarlet/Violet, and why?

Have played neither but heard Arceus was a decent new take on the series.
Just yesterday researched S/V and didnt seem like it was well received, all new pokemon look even dumber now and the starters and their bipedal evos look tranny af, plus you get pokemon that are used as bikes? gtfo lol
Only good one is Lechonk, god bless him

i full cleared both
i liked violet/scarlet better since its more of a traditional pokemon game. however there are elements taken from arceus for example: theres no one path you have to take, theres also other objectives besides getting badges, there is fighting the team rocket bosses and killing titan pokemon to upgrade your bikePetite with nice feet crew

i've only played scarlet but it was meh to me.
buggy, felt unfinished, unpolished. moderately fun once you get in to it, though the "open world choose your path" thing is bull****. There's three "types" of quests you can do, and the level requirements of them are staggered in such a way where you pretty much have to do everything in a certain order anyway. It's alright for just vegging out if you don't scrutinize it too deep though.Lifts:
Squat: 460x1
Bench: 400x1
Deadlift: 575x1
OHP: 250x2
Weight: 180 lbs.
Don't have heroes; look up to no one. Because as long as someone's leading the way, the best you'll ever be is second.

The biggest issue for me with SV is that all the new Pokémon suck. I always try to find six completely new Pokémon that I like to make a team for the new region but after looking at the Pokédex, this was the first time I couldn’t do that.

Redskins/Buckeyes/Federer
I know no king but the King in the North whose name is Stark.
