FFXVI and Stalker 2 100%. Anything else coming out is meh. Starfield has potential (but honestly looks kinda boring compared to Fallout and TES), as does Ashes of Creation (but keeps getting delayed and gameplay previews/updates give an alpha vibe still). But there's not very much left on my list.
I literally had to Google it to see what else is out there, cuz it's not in my radar. But Sons of the Forest could be decent, Diablo 4 has a trainwreck of previous Blizzard games to make up for (indicating likelihood of failure), and I know Hogwarts Legacy is "the game" that us Harry Potter fans have wanted back when we were kids/teens, but despite a ton of pros it does have glaring cons for me from trailers/previews (non-immersive static NPCs, children quest givers, lack of multiplayer).
Another game I have some skepticism about is Lies of P. It looks fun, and like it's trying to be a From Software game IMO, but outside of the boss fights the core gameplay in trailers/previews seems a little limiting and I'm not sold on the setting or story telling yet.
Honorable shoutout though to Dark and Darker, this game has been a blast in the public playtests, and might be a harbinger of a new style of competitive multiplayer gaming.
Call me a pessimistic critic from the above, but outside of a few games, I doubt I'll be dropping money on any others in 2023 (though I will drop money to go to the first E3 in 3 years perhaps). CoD MW2 gets my adrenaline going, Runescape 3 is addicting, and WoW WOTLK: Classic raiding has been enjoyable. And I could see myself playing solely these games for a long time.
What would really amp me up is if Avowed came out in 2023, but Google indicates it's slated for Q2 2024 (unverified leaker is the source though).r9 5900x stock | 1800mhz fclock
