the forum was memory holed by google's search algorithm a few years back, and then misc got set to private for a year, so a lot of its stuff won't come up in any search results now. only the new stuff from the time misc got opened back up will show up, and even then it probably won't rank as high on the results, so there won't be a lot, or any new members joining. probably happened due to loosened moderation rules over the years.
