me too man. i don't know if it's because it was the first MMA I watched, but the intensity/goosebumps from those pride fights has never been replicated. I think the exciting intros were part of it.

Unfortunately, it sounds like Fedor got screwed over financially by his scumbag manager Vadim Finkelstein, and this forced Fedor to continue fighting for the money. He didn't have the fire or desire in him anymore, but I guess financially he didn't have a choice.
