Since I haven't posted in a while I'm gonna make a post. Shout out to Getter_Done
IMO YouTube is one of the greatest inventions of modern history. This and other audio visual forms of media will definitely be a staple in Web 3.0. Not only can it be a source of entertainment, but it can also be a source of curated knowledge and a means for people to get their ideas out in the world.
Every so often I will watch certain channels more and some will fall by the wayside. I have a few I've been watching more lately. What are yours? Give me recommendations.
1) PsychHacks
- Dr Orion Taraban is a licensed psychologist who's catchphrase for his channel is "Better Living Through Psychology". He gives a lot of nuggets of advice on dating, relationships, existence, purpose, and meaning. He draws a lot of practical, philosophical, and religious allegory to drive his points across. Good dude and I like his channel.
2) Irami Osei-Frimpong AKA The Funky Academic
- Irami delves into race, class, and socioeconomic politics in half hour segments on certain subjects. He holds a bachelors and masters in political philosophy and philosophy of education.
3) Melissa Nacional
- Fragrance reviewer. Unabashed and funny. She can talk about people wanting to get railed by you b/c you're rocking a certain fragrance b/c she's a woman and a lesbian.
4) Alux.com
- "The place where future billionaires come to get inspired". Good short information on how to achieve success in your career, finances, business. They also give advice on your relationships whether business or interpersonal.
5) TechLead
- Ex-Google, ex-******** Tech Lead. Patrick Shyu delivers entertaining content in his deadpan delivery. Anything ranging from tech reviews to life, philosophy advice.
6) 30 Hertz
- AI Generated Music. Funny as hell.

I'm subbed to a fukton of channels. But if I had to recommend one for every American, I'd recommend Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft. Just because very few people are aware of our foreign policy and the harm it causes.

I watch a lot of true crime channels like EWU, SelestialNorre, and Scary Mysteries that tell crazy stories about some of fuked up people that are in the world (ie. murders, rapists, cannibals, extreme narcissists, satanic cults, etc.)

Nerdy as hell, but since the Depp trial, I’ve been watching a lot of “lawtube”. It’s just lawyers commenting on big trials as they go on.
They bring in all sorts of guests for live commentary, other lawyers, psychologists, etc.I've been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other. So, I thought I could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. I felt like I was watching a dream I could never wake up from. Before I knew it, the dream was over.
