    How to avoid sleepiness after a meal?

    Hello,
    I've been trying to get back to my healthy diet. However it includes slow carbs (quinoa, whole grain pasta, brown rice), protein ( fish, meat, tofu) and veggies. After lunch I get so sleepy that I can't work. I've been thinking of cutting off the carbs, but I researched that there is no point. What is recommended is eating smaller portions of food. Can you give me an advice on that?

    Honey, cut your portion sizes in half. Eat one of those meals an hour earlier than you normally would and another an hour later than you normally would.

    Were you having the same crash prior to returning to a healthier diet? You could have a minor intolerance to a new food you introduced that is causing fatigue.
