Lmfao. I didn't even watch more than 30 seconds of the vid I posted, I grabbed one of the first ones that popped up after searching modded gta. Again I don't care. I dont need to prove anything to the two residential horizon butt boys. The point I was making is that Coal Man can use his own peabrain to go look up videos instead of sitting around with tabs bookmarked in his web browser ready to argue at a moments notice.


Also realize there are many different mods for games that have different features and looks. This was just one example thoughtlessly pulled from YouTube.

I don't need to prove anything to anyone lmao, they gave horizon best graphics because it was the best looking game released in 2022. Also, they are one random YouTube channel, you guys seem to worship them here but I don't even watch that channel bc honestly I don't give a fuk about that kind of stuff. I was playing games in 4k like 7 years ago, graphics aren't that exciting to me anymore.

Theres plenty of games that rival it (esp if we factor in mods) that were not released in 2022. Horizon won best graphics in a category limited to one single year of releases.

Games like rdr2 rival it for graphics, and rdr2 is over 3 years old and was developed for every platform, not just as a Sony exclusive that needs to perform only on one system. Modded cyberpunk, **** even vanilla cyberpunk.

Ffs go play dead rising 4 and see good graphics from an older game with 1000 zombies rendered on screen. I'd love to see the framerate of horizon 2 with a few hundred character models rendering at once.

At the end of the day horizon didn't reinvent the wheel here. Its a fantastic looking game, as it should be given the fact its one of sony's bread and butter franchises. The way you and coal man constantly use the "graphics of the year" phrase is so incredibly cringy it makes speaking to either of you unbearable.

Gotcha. The mo cap in horizon is the best I've seen so far, literally every convo is mo capped. RDR2 looks insane on PC but its age is showing a bit. Still, solid choice.

I just can't vibe with Cyberpunk. The artstyle is somehow too cartoony to me, I don't know if it's because they focused more on lighting and reflections than textures. And again moving about the city and seeing the weak AI with NPCs just broke my immersion.

Same. Gave up on Cyberpunk after a few missions. The world seems "empty" as hell despite being big. Just couldn't get into it.

The advantage for consoles is once developers learn the limitations of the hardware & it's code, they can optimize within it's parameters whereas on PC you have hundreds of hardware configurations since the hardware architecture(s) change every year

The PC advantage is you're not stuck with the same level of performance for nearly a decade; current consoles are going to be stuck @ 30fps again here shortly as these new engines come out


Still if you're willing to modify games you can make 7+ year old titles look as good or better than anything being released right now #JustPCnerdThings

Agree with some things here but it's not going down to 30fps. Lots of people are getting OLED tvs for their new consoles and realize 30 looks dogchit on it. I think 40fps/120hz will be the new big thing and performance 60 is here to say. Games that come without it are flopping.

In no way is that possible, if games were primarily being made for PC like they were in the 90's/00's, consoles would have a Crysis/CyberPunk 2077 scenario on most releases
