Always been a big GT fan. This was had a rough start but it’s good.

My PC is $2100 and HP Reverb G2 is another $500. And it's not even OLED or has eye tracking. If If were to get a racingwheel, it would be another $300.

For $1000 less, the PSVR2 seems like a great entry point into racing SIM.

It's a good point you make that on top of the console and headset buy-in... you also need a wheel.
Now we're pushing into the $2,000s.

Keen to see how this plays out. I honestly don't see Gran Turismo becoming any more than a niche for people that want to try out their new expensive headsets.

You have to factor in that PS5 might not get another GT game and then its a dead platform.

true, that's why i probably wouldn't recommend PSVR2 in the first year. Would have to see how committed Sony is to bring more games.

Even on steamVR, with lots of VR titles, the ones that are actually worth playing can be counted on one hand. I'm also not sure if any of the racing games available on SteamVR reaches the same fidelity and content as GT7. Some people might be content with just GT7 as long as more DLC content is being added.

That's because PCVR seems dead tbh. But maybe its different for the sim racers.

Nah, Dirt Rally was PSVR compatible too and they're making a new one which will be. GT7 isnt the only VR racer out there
