    Does anyone here have <6 inch wrists ?

    I have very small wrists and it concerns me because I have read that your bicep potential is limited by your wrist size. Has anyone here managed to build decent biceps with wrists under 6 inches ?

    Don't be one of those people who looks for reasons to give up before they even really start.

    You can build decent size biceps compared to where you are now. Everyone has bodyframe & genetic limitations on how much muscle growth they can achieve naturally, and how easy it will be.

    [QUOTE=jaxqen;1676391203]Yes.
    Not < 6, but small.
    A little over 6, I think.
    Is it a limiting factor? It can be on certain exercises and someone with big wrists can progressive overload faster, in most situations.
    But come on, you can build decent biceps.
    And there are also other muscle groups.
    And many other people have other shortcomings.

    Can I ask your height ? And what you max bicep size has been ?

    Your height / wrist size suggests that you would be classified as “small boned”. It is one of several genetic challenges that lifters face.

    You smile, you work through it and enjoy.

    You will make progress, you will be a better you and you may well surpass some of the more genetically gifted.

    (And, as you work out the muscle will tug on the bone thus thickening it some.)

    A "big boned" lad may well be predisposed to a thicker arm but a bicep on a smaller boned person presents a contrast that just kinda "Pops"!

    Now get out there and have some Fun!
