Happened here in 1991 but that was before I was born lol. But that storm became a legend. From what I was told 1/3 of the trees died. The city went from having a lush forest feel to looking barren in many parts. Power was out for over a week. I remember a similar storm around 2003.

Bro I made it through the Detroit winter in 2014 when they got 100+ inches of snow and parking lots had 20' high piles of snow by January.

The issue here is that they don't have salt or plows, and the electric grid and water pipes aren't insulated for freezing temps. You wouldn't be tough without water or power either, and knowing how to drive on ice doesn't help if nobody shows up to open the stores.

the southern panic is real.i lived in GA for 15 years.they are so stupid.ive seen multiple wrecks when theres black ice or snow on the ground.they cant drive for chit.instead of lightly pressing the brakes they hit it as hard as they can and start to skid out and wreck.they are too ignorant and dumb to prepare for light snow.meanwhile its 8 degrees and lots of snow and ice here in Iowa.kinda miss GA its freaking cold by the mississippi

I lived through the Mississippi Delta ice storm that happened on February 9th, 1994. I lived in Cleveland, MS at the time. It was a wild time brah. You could hear trees and limbs crashing and snapping all night long.
