    Weighing Portions

    Should I be weighing things like sweat potatoes and ground turkey before or after cooking?

    ideally before to be most accurate, just keep in mind when you look up the calorie estimates online, there should be a different calorie/volume... don't just look up 'chicken calories' and ASSUME it's cooked or uncooked... try and find a reliable resource which lists the cooking status of the food.

    I find it easier to just count by potato.

    2 = cut

    3 = maintenance

    4 = bulk
