tragedy 5th graders are way smarter than you FFS
Now if you are done with your nonsense lets get the thread back on track.
Assistant director David Halls, who handed Baldwin the gun, has signed an agreement to plead guilty to negligent use of a deadly weapon, the district attorney’s office said.
Involuntary manslaughter can involve a killing that happens while a defendant is doing something that is lawful but dangerous and is acting negligently or without caution.
The charge is a fourth-degree felony, punishable by up to 18 months in jail and a $5,000 fine under New Mexico law. The charges also include a provision that could result in a mandatory five years in prison because the offense was committed with a gun.
Anyone think that he will do any time? I sure as fuk hope so, from the time he pulled the trigger it has always been about Alec, how it wasn't his fault. lost all respect for that tit at that point.Air Force Veteran 1976 - 1999 - Cannabis Enthusiast since the 1960's

His attorney will make a deal with the prosecutor for home confinement followed by community service. He'll never see bars. That's my guess. It'll never go to trial.

He'd have to know the difference. between prop and real. Never held a prop gun but am sure it weighs far less. There is a lot more to this story that we do not know. Supposedley the one whom died had some dirt on Baldwin, read something awhile back but can't remeber it all.
Use to really like him back in the day, but the guy turned into a complete buffoon with all the Trump hate.
Still one of his best scenes..

He's a member of the Screen Actor's Guild. Their safety rules are pretty clear cut. Everyone is responsible for safety when firearms are involved, including the actor using the firearm. Actors can always ask to have them checked prior to being used.

Baldwin has been on film for 35 years, which includes plenty of movies where he used guns. He should have known the rules. He just got complacent.

Treat every firearm as if it is loaded, it only takes a few seconds to prove a gun like that safe.
I was taught that when I was still in single digits shooting rabbits and grouse with my 410/22 topper, I instructed and tested hunter safety students going back to the 70's. Although, treat every weapon as if it is loaded and always prove the weapon was preached during the course, many auto fails were handed out when you gave the student the weapon and asked them to point it downrange and they did so without proving it safe.
No weapon touches my hands that isn't immediately proved safe, I don't care who hands it to me. It's just the way it is.
I read somewhere when this first started that this gun was used for live fire off the set. The final reason that the gun went off is Baldwin pulled the trigger, this wouldn't have happened had he proved the weapon safe.
He also claimed that he never pulled the trigger and it went off when he released the hammer. This was proven wrong and that the trigger had to have been pulled.
Hope the fukker gets the max.
It's time for him to own this.Last edited by mtpockets; 01-20-2023 at 03:41 AM.

I obviously agree with regards to gun safety but the responsibility was contractually located with multiple other more qualified people. That is relevant to his legal culpability as an actor in a film production. That being said his position as producer probably creates a greater-than-usual duty for him to check the gun by virtue of the fact that he knew or should have known how negligent the gun handlers were on that set. There were a lot of safeguards that were ignored or dismissed by multiple people who had a direct contractual responsibility to adhere to them. Which is why I think Baldwin will probably eat the charge as a producer, because it’s his responsibility to ensure the systems are functional and the people in charge of supervising them have integrity and professionalism."it's likely one of us will have to spend some days alone"

My Hunter safety instructor passed around a shotgun with a laser pointer in the barrel, the times the red dot danced across his chest was alarming.
It's a gun with blanks, weighs maybe 1 gram less, indistinguishable from a gun with live rounds.Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.
