Sadly, Jamin Pugh has passed away. Known to fans as Jay Briscoe, he was a star in ROH for over 20 years, from the first show until today.
Jay and his brother Mark dominated ROH, reigning as champions to this day. We'll do whatever we can to support his family.

Twitter is disgusting. Amidst the condolences came across some jackass preaching that Briscoe was a homophobic jackass and the phrase "rest in power" should never be used for someone like him. Of course he has his pronouns in bio. Nauseating.

Prayers to Jay and the second passenger that died (no info on who it was yet). Hopefully details on their identity will come out soon. Pray that it wasn't his wife, they've got 5-6 kids...**** was hard enough when I lost my dad suddenly to a heart attack not even a day after having dinner with the guy, and I'm a grown ass man. Can't imagine what it's like to be an actual child and suddenly realize your dad's gone, let alone mom AND dad.

A shame, obviously the loss of his life is horrific and a tragedy, but it's also a big loss that this amazing team never got to shine where they belong, on a national stage.

WBD had banned the Briscoes from appearing on tv and nixed a tribute show and had reportedly continued the ban to Mark but apparently the social media backlash caused them to end the ban on Mark.
