hey my left bicep feels like its about to tear when i hold like 12kg after a heavy chest and back workout today (hitting a bench pr may have affected it idk, prolly not as i progressed through the workout without any pain at all). it doesnt hurt at all only when i hold like 12kg in my left arm, and it was only after the chest and back workout that i noticed it hurting. another thing to note is that i was walking with a moderate weight of groceries for like 5 minutes with my left arm, prolly like 8kg or something?? it jus doesnt bother me at all except when im holding stuff with my left hand.
maybe heavy barbell rows or something like that influenced it or underhand lat pulldowns
my friends have experienced similar things and they said 2 days should be enuf to recover it
im 17, a year into working out
ive evened my muscle imbalanced out on both arms, right arm used to be much more stronger
just want to know how light i can go doing biceps or how long do i avoid doing biceps, and also would doing other upperbody muscle groups such as shoulders, triceps, (not doing back for obvious reasons) and chest aggravate it? (kinda not want to ONLY hit legs lol) aka diagnosing condition and resting period
my split is a 3 week cycle of ppl: pplrpp, lpprlp, plprpl, repeat (i do the arnold split version)
