New OLEDs will be almost bright enough for non basement dwellers

People who keep talking about brightness sound uninformed. Brightness is about the washed out colors that's the problem. In a sunlit room, OLED is washed out and that's were LED prevails and look better. Color volume and increased dynamic range is what you get with increased brightness.

Hopefully OLED gets to the best of both worlds.

I get far more pop from on. Hgig makes it look so bad.

Yeah i just tried that and recalibrated and it looks phenomenal. I also turned off saturation during the calibration. Pops more and looks more realistic.

Wrong. My QD-OLED has full saturation at full brightness.
