I sometimes watch Peter Windsor on Youtube. It's pretty dry but very detailed and high quality analysis. Dude goes over all the long run and short run lap times during the free practices. He had a really interesting theory too why some drivers had trouble with the tyre temp in qualifying while some others didn't. Apparently Verstappen intentionally did longer corners as opposed to his regular style, while Perez did the opposite trying to copy Max's regular style. He also claims that's why Norris and Sainz did so well because they normally take longer corners.
Without rain or any weird circumstances it's pretty hard for an outsider to get a podium. I am a little surprised though by how hard Ferrari shat the bed once again. They really aren't doing well these last few years.

It's sad to see a classic track not be there yearly. Also kinda weird that we have 2 German tracks but none are on the calendar. I'm guessing money is the problem there as well.
I'm surprised to see the Dutch GP being yearly because I'd Imagine with Max being so popular they'd make tons of money. Guess they can't compete with the oil bucks.

dude no spa? ****..... this might be the g@yest news possible outside of going fully electric.
side note, the more oil countries they go to, the more net zero they talk. Makes no sense.Last edited by macmoney; 06-08-2023 at 01:03 PM.

Net zero is retarded.
Literally suicide is the only possible "net zero" way to exist on the planet.
I DO like the enforced budgets, but I also think there is a LOT more things they could trim from Formula 1, that would also make human skill a much bigger factor.... Like one mechanic per tire on pit stops, for example.... Fueling, no radios, etc etc etc.... The list is long.Spoiler alert; you die at the end.
