Told you Hamilton for podium was a good bet boyo. Overall it was a pretty average race, at least it wasn't a snoozefest.

Is Mercedes gonna be challenging Perez for that 2nd spot in the driver's championship? Their upgrades seemed to work pretty well.

I sometimes watch Peter Windsor on Youtube. It's pretty dry but very detailed and high quality analysis. Dude goes over all the long run and short run lap times during the free practices. He had a really interesting theory too why some drivers had trouble with the tyre temp in qualifying while some others didn't. Apparently Verstappen intentionally did longer corners as opposed to his regular style, while Perez did the opposite trying to copy Max's regular style. He also claims that's why Norris and Sainz did so well because they normally take longer corners.

Without rain or any weird circumstances it's pretty hard for an outsider to get a podium. I am a little surprised though by how hard Ferrari shat the bed once again. They really aren't doing well these last few years.

They looked solid, but let's see what happens on some hotter tracks. They always have good results on cooler days as today was.

I'm convinced they'll get the 2nd place in the constructor championship. They always seem to have the best development through the year, Ferrari has been chit for years and I just don't think AM can keep up with Mercedes.
