I sometimes watch Peter Windsor on Youtube. It's pretty dry but very detailed and high quality analysis. Dude goes over all the long run and short run lap times during the free practices. He had a really interesting theory too why some drivers had trouble with the tyre temp in qualifying while some others didn't. Apparently Verstappen intentionally did longer corners as opposed to his regular style, while Perez did the opposite trying to copy Max's regular style. He also claims that's why Norris and Sainz did so well because they normally take longer corners.

Without rain or any weird circumstances it's pretty hard for an outsider to get a podium. I am a little surprised though by how hard Ferrari shat the bed once again. They really aren't doing well these last few years.

I'm convinced they'll get the 2nd place in the constructor championship. They always seem to have the best development through the year, Ferrari has been chit for years and I just don't think AM can keep up with Mercedes.

Looks like Zandvoort and Spa will have biyearly grand prixs from now on. Pretty sad news to the old school F1 fan. Going for that oil money over historic European grand prixs. Especially the Belgium one is legendary but the Dutch GP delivered since it's comeback.

It's sad to see a classic track not be there yearly. Also kinda weird that we have 2 German tracks but none are on the calendar. I'm guessing money is the problem there as well.

Seems like the sport has really grown over there with that Netflix chit. From having no GPs to having 3 GPs and finding pit stop challenges at your local grocery store.

It was way more fun than I expected. Stayed for like an hour and a half taking breaks, doing a few runs, talking to the people running about racing, etc. They even hooked me and my son up with some super slick Red Bull water bottles, key chains, and like 10 Red Bulls when we left. lol
