So my gf decided that she wants to get "toned" (lol), for the new year and she wants to see her abs and build her legs a bit, till summer. I myself train on a full body program but she wants something that emphasizes on her legs glutes and abs. She also doesn't feel comfortable going to the gym and wants a program that she can use at home. Do you know any specific program like that, or should i make o custom one based on some basic exercises like body weight squats, lunges, ab work etc. ?
For reference, she is 5 feet 7 / 170 cm and 121 lbs/ 55 kg, fairly fit frame.
Also, what about starting with those 20 min videos of exercises with music on YouTube for the first weeks? Is it even worth it to get some endurance and get an idea of the exercises?

There's no such thing as "toning" a muscle. A muscle can get bigger (hypertrophy), or get smaller (atrophy), or stay the same. Without progressive overload (lifting more weight for more reps over time) she won't achieve hypertrophy and build muscle, and without building muscle there's no "tone". So unless you have a full set of gym equipment at home, there's not a lot of hope for achieving her goals. That is the reality of things.
All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.
Don't be upset with the results you didn't get from the work you did not do.
