Exactly this. This idea is the dumbest chit ever imagined and only flies in a retarded clown world where nothing makes any sense (current year).

You are wasting a bunch of energy to be "green" on paper, only that you're burning 4x the fossil fuels to achieve this instead of just pumping it directly into the cars.
Actually it makes perfect sense when you consider the green movement is another massive industry and wealth transfer effort

my dislike for it is "bullchit"(opinion) that you can side with

the thermodyamics of this kind of synthetic fuel production is not. the energy in that synthetic fuel comes directly from electrical power. on a small scale sure you can build dedicated energy sources like wind turbines, but on an industrial scale you would need high power fossil fuel plants to get anywhere economically

you called another miscer a retard for pointing that out, and clearly he was right and you were wrong. its ok though it takes a lot of character to admit that, i don't expect it from a common miscer.

What is your point? Do you think the use of electricity is unique to production of this fuel? Otherwise, unless you have full efficiency rates showing this new process is extremely inefficient compared to others, how is electricity use relevant at all to the viability of this new fuel?

Battery power fanboys have some weird thing against alternatives to battery power. It's weird, because they claim to be wanting what's best for the environment and for alternatives and so on, yet they always seem to double down hard on attacking anything that can threaten their precious batteries.

that was just a tangent. in response to this post,

which is ignorant of the fact that indeed the energy would come from the power grid. but I agree the posts were pointless and was a waste of time, no need to argue with the obtuse.

    back on topic.

it is nothing new, they just added carbon capture as their schtik. doesnt change the fact that synthetic hydrocarbon fuel has been around for 100 years and the economy of it is simply prohibitive. This is just a marketing campain.
