The first is that some munitions have a built-in self-destruct mechanism. Now, they still have the normal impact-initiated fuzing but if the munition fails to impact anything it will detonate anyway.

Second, in most models, the initiation system is in the nose (a notable exception is the PG-2 which has a base fuze that is initiated by inertia rather than other models that have either a nose fuze or a nose element which triggers the base fuze). It is possible for the munition to impact something too soft to cause it to detonate (like plunging into a sand berm or a human body) or to strike at an angle that missed the nose fuze/element.

Well, as we've seen with the non existent tanks they would most likely be giving them 40 year old F-16s and not the new Viper variants. Not a huge surprise they would like newer Russian jets better. They know how the Russian jets fly and where they can push them. All of that is unknown to them in an F-16.

I also found it quite humorous that the 'junk' Russian jets were just great when they were buying into the Ghost of Kiev propaganda.

In an update to its growth outlook, the IMF delivered a hefty blow to Britain’s growth prospects despite brightening global conditions, with a 0.9 percentage point downgrade to the UK’s annual growth projection year. It expects the economy to contract by 0.6 per cent in 2023, which would make Britain the slowest-growing economy in the G7.

It's also been stated that a bunch of new re-enforcements for Ukraine just made it into Bakmut. It isn't going to fall ANYTIME soon.

What else is there to talk about?
