Fair enough. Right back at you though if you think Ankalaev won that fight. You seem to have recency bias as when you dissect the fight and looking at each round separately, Ankalaev was 3 seconds away from getting TKO'd while standing up due to his legs not carrying him like you mentioned. At no point was Jan close to getting KO'ed on the ground. We've seen it's about damage in recent UFC events, not about holding someone up against the cage.
R1 - quite even but Jan started off with a couple of good leg kicks. This round was the closest one but I gave it to Jan 10-9
R2 - Jan demolished the leg the whole round, Ankalaev limping. Absolutely no question 10-9 Jan
R3 - Ankalaevs leg rekt more and more, forced to switch stances and the other leg almost rekt as well. Dude was very close to being TKO'ed while standing as he could barely move on the legs. Easy round for Jan 10-9
R4 - 2 minutes after start Ankalaev finally gets a TD and he was on top for the next 3 minutes. 10-9 Ankalaev
R5 - Jan stumbled and fell, Ankalaev on top and controlled for the rest of the round. Last minute I'll give props as he started landing but at no point was Jan close to being finished. 10-9 or arguably 10-8 Ankalaev
How in the right, sober mind could you say someone who saw Jan winning is crazy is beyond me. Happy to hear your explanation though.
