Man that was great cornering by ankalaev's team. He was on a downward spiral with his head in his ass playing that kickboxing game. He's younger, faster, stronger, way better grappler. They turned that chit around

I don't know why everyone's so adamant on Ankalaev 100% deserving it. Dudes legs were destroyed for 3 rounds in a row, couldn't even walk. He lost stand-up 3 rounds in a row and was almost forced to quit because he couldn't walk. Laying on someone for 2 rounds doing little bit of damage doesn't make up for the amount of pounding Jan gave him. I'd say draw is the only correct decision here.
Paddy's fight, however, is a different story and you can't convince me Dana didn't have something to do with it.
Also Joe shouldn't be pushing his opinion like that, these are warriors in the octagon there and both deserved it.

I think we can agree Round 4 and 5 went to Ankalaev. Round 2 and 3 went to Jan. I think Round 1 was debatable and could have went to either but I think I would have gave the slight edge to Ankalaev. I dont think Round 5 was a 10-8.
Kinda bad luck for Ankalaev that all 3 judges gave Round 1 to Jan. The judge that gave Ankalaev round 3 was a potato IMO. The scorecards were all over the place here but realistically I think this could have gone to either guy. But I would have gave it to Ankalaev.

Get fukt. Hugging someone on the ground without a finish should result in zero points,. No one wants to watch this chit, that's why the audience started booing. You either choke someone out or get your ass up off the mat and fight, this is not a hugging contest.
lmao Ankalaev is crying like a bitch for 5 minutes straight now bwahaha. "Muhh belt muhh belt". Should be happy that judges gave him 10-8 final round for not doing chit.

I think he regretted pushing his opinion like that.
I agree that judging the fight overall, that the Dagastani guy won... but fights are judged on a round basis, and under the round basis scoring system, I can see how it was a draw
I think Joe realized his mistake after the fight.
Round scoring system is a bad way to judge fights, though... it leads to situations like this where one guy clearly won, but due to scoring system it's not exactly a clear winFak U say? Cheeky kent ya, i'll fakin fak ya, ya lil sloot
