What tint %?

Regardless of legality, what’s your preferred tint?

Thinking about 20% sides, 5% rear, 50% windshield ceramic tint.

I like dark tint so i would say 5% all around with a low 5% brow on windshield. Its what looks best on any vehicle in my opinion

i used to go darker in the rear like most people do, but now i do an even 20% all the way around (nothing on the windshield). fist did it because I was tired of backing up blind, but then I found the the lack of contrasting tint shades gives a more pleasant appearance from the outside as well.

5% looks kind of tacky anyway, a nice 20% charcoal tint gives just the right amount of soft "glow" so to speak. while 5% just looks like the window is made of black plastic

5 percent will leave you literally blind at night tbh.

Had it for a while and it was just soooo annoying driving at night. I lived in an area with a ton of foot traffic and I was always scared I was gunna hit someone crossing the street when making turns.

I have 35's on the vette- its not totally private but I cant imagine any darker trying to see at night.

darkest legal in your state and if you think you are going to move check that states laws too. sux to have to redo it if you move states

I prefer 25%, which also happens to be the lowest you can legally go in Texas.

On the front windshield in my truck I have Llumar's Air80. It's clear, but it significantly reduces the heat that comes through. I can tell a huge difference on a summer day when I get into my truck or my wife's car, which doesn't have it. It really helps the A/C out with cooling the cabin down faster.

I had the front windows matched to the rear factory tint on my CX-5, google says this is 20%.

It's perfectly acceptable about 90% of the time. It only becomes a pain in the ass making turns in areas without street lights at night.

I think 20% is the best of both worlds. 35% is still too light IMO. Below is too dark.
