I'm older than you, when I had the original strain, which was far more severe, it was like having bad allergies for about three days, felt a little tired for about a week and lost my smell for maybe a day. Last June, I caught a Summer cold, I usually sleep them off and am good in 1-2 days, but I *had* to help my elderly folks move, so lots of physical labor, it took me a lot longer than usual to recover. That cold was x10 worse than covid for me. A cold.
