Seems like they can play at anywhere from 1080p to true 4k but how do you even know?

mw2 on xbox & ps5 runs on dynamic resolution at 4k60fps mode so certain areas are lower resolution then upscaled.. so lets say a certain area of the map with this many people will drop resolution to lets say 1800p and upscaled back to 4k.
if you are running 4k120fps then its a 1440p image upscaled
and your PC looks better because its native 4k with no tricks involved.
4k = 3860×2160
1800p = 3200x1800
1440p = 2560×1440
1080p = 1920x1080Last edited by rocketfish; 11-29-2022 at 07:45 PM.

The consoles don't display 4K, it's just marketing lies
They're up-scaled so it will never look as good as a PC's version*Tolerance is the lube that slides the dildo of dysfunction into the ass of civilized society*

That was a one-off in 2021; not realistic cost
People were paying $1000+ for a PS5 then too
In reality you can upgrade your PC for about $800 every 4-5 years, new CPU, new GPU(often just a GPU)
You get what you pay for, PC costs twice as much as a console but you get double the performance or more + it can do PC things
If someone can't afford $200/year to upgrade a PC they have bigger problems than running games*Tolerance is the lube that slides the dildo of dysfunction into the ass of civilized society*

That's all well and good, but your top end GPUs still cost more than a new console, so my point still stands, also lol at saying "you can upgrade every few years for $800" as if $800 alone for an "upgrade" is somehow less than a console.
Retail for PS5s was always $500, scalper prices don't matter. High end PCs have always been pricey. Honestly your entire post is fuking retarded.***Mariah Carey is my 10/10 Crew***

High end GPU's used to be $400 until very recently, so it was a $400 upgrade every 4 years for a lot of people.. high end PC's themselves used to be $800.. for double+ console performance
Imagine how much you would soak your panties if you could upgrade your PS5's GPU every 3-4 years
If scalper price doesn't matter then PC are still a better value per dollar
My comments are never "retarded", you just don't understand anything beyond consoles which is typical; most people are not paying $2500+ for a damn PC*Tolerance is the lube that slides the dildo of dysfunction into the ass of civilized society*

Dude before covid hit during the 10xx and 2xx series you could build a PC that would dump on consoles for 1000-1500 dollars.
That is when most of the people I play with on pc today switched from console to pc
2018/19ish = GPU's were cheap, and consoles were SEVERELY underperforming. Games like Warzone and fortnite made pretty much everyone who plays fps games regularly switch because ppl could not play those games at 30fps. Literally every twitch streamer playing popular br fps games switched to pc and tons of their little followers with them.
Fast forward to today and GPU's are expensive as hell, and the consoles actually perform pretty well for the price.Sometimes I park in handicap spaces, while handicap people make handicap faces

For a long time a $1K PC was high-end, they dumped on the ps3-ps4 for so long that consoles were reserved for walking simulator type games only with their 30fps lowest possible settings
The consoles today are a good value, but were made obsolete right after launch due to Nvidia's 30 series cards, a $250 used-3060ti chits all over the PS5's 2070 now & it will only get worse for console's performance-per-dollar from here on
1 in 6 people own a gaming PC as of 2022, it's grown a ton since 2020*Tolerance is the lube that slides the dildo of dysfunction into the ass of civilized society*

Look at my original comment (to the OP mind you), look at OPs PC build in his signature, and tell me OP got all that for less than $2500.
The i9 is $500-$550 + mobo is $150
3080 is $950-$1050
16GB RAM (minimum) is $80 if you're getting a decent stick
1TB NVMe is what? $170
The tower to fit it all is about $100
Liquid cooling is about $100
And these are now prices. OPs machine cost every bit of $2500. But here come PC cock gobblers to find some random fukkin deal on some used POS to try to prove some kind of stupid fukking point.
And your high end GPUs still cost more than a console. Your used 3060ti bullchit doesn't invalidate that statement.***Mariah Carey is my 10/10 Crew***
