So they did a thing where the review embargo is after the game is out. That's a bad sign. Ragnarok lifted their embargo a week before launch for comparison. Generally that shows the dev is confident with its product.

I really don't want this to suck but so far the signs aren't the best.

Damn, I hope you all are wrong. A few people on social media bought the game from Walmart apparently. Hopefully we get their word on how it is.

I got the game early and tonight another patch just dropped. I can confirm the game has Photo Mode day one.

Only played an hour and if that is anything to go by they have created a Horror Hit for gamers that love these games. I believe it’s going to review really well. You can tell the developers was passionate about this and care to scare the **** out of us. It has that Tension where you don’t feel safe for one second.

I didn’t see one bug or crash in first hour on PS5.

I recommend everyone to play with Headphones it has that detailed Dead Space sound design and PS5 Tempest 3D elevates it even further.

Example not a spoiler but a enemy jumped in a vent in the ceiling and I could literally track him moving through the ceiling and it was creepy as hell.

God I cannot wait to play more later as I will have more time

So I was right when I said a delayed review embargo was a bad sign. Those fuking guys pushed super hard with a massive marketing campaign while blocking reviews just so they can sell as much copies as possible.

From what I've seen so far, the dodging mechanic is clunky and you're locked into 1 v 1 melee battles while other enemies can hit u from behind. Who the fuk thought that was a good idea?

Plus, as far is I heard the game is short and doesn't even have an NG+ for a second playthrough. Feels like the game could have been much better if it was made a shooter instead.

Oh well. We'll see if devs can fix things in a few months. Game could be more playable plus we could get a complete addition with more content.
