My Galaxy S10+ lasted like 5 years. Finally died when I fell off some rocks fishing at the jetty. Got a Nokia G100, thing didn't even last a year. Now I'm on that S22 Ultra.

Playstation 4 is still going, I got it when it released in 2013, so 9 years. Only problem that gives me is I can't play physical discs, it randomly ejects them for no reason

My N64 still runs like a top. I play it every few months now as I mostly just emulate N64 anymore.

If you don't abuse your electronics they will last a very long time.

My old NES still works perfect too, and that's from the 80's.

I'm more worried about "disc rot" for old CD's.

that's my point, even when you care for them the more modern ones are more prone to failing compared to the old ones

I know it's down to moving parts but in general it's pretty pissening we came to accept devices not even lasting 10+ years

My PS4 experienced the dreaded hard drive crash. It seemed to have been a common issue. XBox is still working fine. Still have the original PS and it works fine too. I don’t play it much these days. I guess a part of me doesn’t want to break it.

Lol who says we're accepting devices not lasting 10 years?

When I think about it, almost every tech I have still works. Oh yeah a lithium battery of my PSP got swolen up, that's it.
