i'm one of those 151 purist too.

but I decided to give pokemon another shot and I don't give two chits about the other pokemon outside the 151, I don't even try to remember their names or how they look.

I just played the game for the story and the stories are actually pretty good if you get into it.

Seems like a solid albeit ridiculously easy RPG if you look at each release in isolation. It'll never hit the same highs as it did with the first couple generations though. Being like 9 years old when the cartoon, cards, and games were at their peak popularity was amazing.

Hope Red/Blue/Yellow get a remake some day with just the original pokemon.

the gameplay seems like it might be fun, but it seems like the glitches in the game are inexcusable and the graphics are god awful lol ... but bc it's pokemon it will sell.
