The combat in witcher 3 isn’t that bad. No it’s not ER level but it seems like people just say that it’s bad because they aren’t fans of the game. I’m not fan of long drawn out cutscenes but W3 was one of the few that I got into. All the crafting and consumable options really give the game much depth also.
Regardless of whether you like it personally there’s a reason it’ll always be in the debate for a top rated game. I just hope they can get close to that for 4 and not listen to the people who said it was too long. Why would you want to spend $60-$70 for less when you can have more?

Looks like a 3rd playthrough is coming to my life soon.
The combat doesn't bother me but once you start min-maxing the gear with crit damage and crit chance (I rolled a lot of feline school gear), the spin to win attack will basically just be the trick to winning most fights. You just helicopter through mobs.Sig line can't be a novel

Couldnt resist ... started a new game and playing it on the easiest setting so I can do everything in white orchard and fuk off. After that I'll bump up the difficulty and play it properly.
Wont be an issue because the new upgrade is a patch and will save over the base game ... so cant wait to how big of a difference in how the game looks pre and post upgrade.
That said, on PC this game still looks pretty good, everything bumped up to ultra, 4k60fps ... it's still quite cartoony and less impressive compared to current open world games, but it still holds up very well .... On PS4 the game looked like ass lol.Sig line can't be a novel

Even though I have over 700 hours in Witcher 3 I’m down for another playthrough. Whoever said it’s all cutscenes and the rest is tacked on is a dip****.
I would argue the side stories/quests are better than the main story. I would get sidetracked for hours doing side quests and exploring.
Hell even just going around the world finding npc’s to play Gwent with could eat a couple hours a night.★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Browns

All I remember about combat is it's incredibly easy to just button mash your way through the whole game. No skill needed. Potions and gwent are boring and poorly implemented. Also totally unnecessary. You can ignore 75 percent of the game and just run from cutscene to cutscene. Might as well just watch the story on youtube as the gameplay itself is weak sauce and mostly boring.
