Getting a refund on COD

The last COD i bought before this one was the one on PS3 where you go in the airport and massacre innocent people. I was much younger then but I remember it being a damn fun game but even then I thought multiplayer was a bit 'arcade' for lack of a better word, but still playable and fun until I hit prestige then never played it again.
Watched reviews of most COD releases since and it just deteriorated more and more over time. Gave this one a go and after 3 days I'm bored chitless with it. It's catered to ADHD zoomers who would rage quit if the respawn timer was 5 seconds or more. Run around, get a couple kills, get killed, instantly respawn and repeat. For some reason if you stand still or go prone for more than 2 seconds it's called 'camping'.
The maps are uninspiring and lifeless. Can't even blow up buildings or anything, that chit was on BF Bad Company in what, 2010?
Angry Joe's review made it sound like ground war was it's own Battlefield game so that got me hyped. It's nothing like BF, more like a B studio copycat attempt of it.
I want a BF game as good as, or better than BF2, 3 or 4 more than I want Half Life 3 srs

I skipped a lot of COD games. Black Ops 2 was the last one I played seriously. This latest COD really is the same and still very outdated. Even the story mode still has the same brain dead AI. I'll definitely be trading it in for Callisto Protocol come December.

The FPS market is wide open right now. Insurgency Sandstorm is good, but it's outdated.

With Amazon you can send it back for a refund within 30 days and they pay return post. I think I'll get all my games from there from now on

Modern Warfare 2019 was actually a really good game, both campainge and multiplayer. It's the best FPS simulation game in my opinion. However, I don't think they changed enough things in MW2 for me spend $60. With $60, I'm supporting other small indie games this time around.

Yeah BF fans are kind of screwed. DICE is continuing support for 2042 for another year and that game is trash. With the way they hyped up Portal mode I was hoping for some BF3 feels with those maps, but they didn't even add many maps at all and Portal is still 2042 gameplay so it's still ****.

New MW2 is playable, but it's pretty much like you said run around like a chicken with its head cut off.

Well they're adding 2042 to GamePass soon so I imagine that's why they're still supporting it for now.

I'm playing it on series x now and it's great. The interiors of the buildings are way better on this game. I love the maps and it's more difficult to level up.

The last cod I bought was ghosts and I sold it in for like 30 bucks after playing if for like 4 hours. Terrible franchise

COD hasn't changed all that much, you have just gotten older. This COD is actually much less child oriented that the wall running ones of the past.

Why would "basic features in prior CODs" have anything to do with the current COD? Why do COD kiddies care so much about calling cards?

Ground war kinda went overboard for me personally. I liked the 10v10 no vehicles from MW2019.

What's the SBMM like? & have you tried invasion? That has less players and AI teammates which is kinda lulzy.

I tried invasion, game modes with bots aren't really for me.

I get mostly console players in my lobbies even tho I'm on pc.


Overall mp is decent enough but I'll never touch it again after tomorrow when Warzone launches.

I got this a week ago as my first COD in 5 years. I tried to like it, but compared to ancient relics that were really great like COD4 MW, and MW2 2009, this doesn't feel like an improvement. I don't really like the weapon progression system either. I initiated a refund on steam so i can only hope it will go through for this one.

I'll try out Warzone 2 though.

Yeah what does all that **** even mean? I just log into to pick up a gun and start killing the **** out of people. I buy the new games for the new maps so I can have new scenery while I kill the **** out of people.
