I won't lie and say he hasn't brought some of it on himself and tbh what retard to end things with United the way he did, but c'mon they act as if this guy is not a top 5 GOAT, plays for a mid-tier country with no WC reputation, and happens to be on the decline in the last 4-5 months. What's the interview got to do with Portugal? He was benched for Portugal and didn't cause a scene so what are you on about? One good game for Portugal don't make them world beaters. Santos should've started Ronaldo and Ramos, the team was the most dangerous and creating chances when both were on the field, but that's the thing Santos is a defensive minded coach that can't mount and offense for ****. He's relied on Ronaldo too long and didn't know what to do after Ronaldo declined.

Fair enough, he helped them reach 2016 Euro final but they won without him in the final. He did well at United last season and I think he's still one of the best, if not the best player in that team. Yes he's declined a bit but it's more to do with his ego that he got benched I believe.
