God the media hates Ronaldo. I won't lie and say he hasn't brought some of it on himself and tbh what retard to end things with United the way he did, but c'mon they act as if this guy is not a top 5 GOAT, plays for a mid-tier country with no WC reputation, and happens to be on the decline in the last 4-5 months. The man could not be any more unlucky in this second half of the year not including the personal tragedy that happened to his family. These ******* pundits are acting like Ronaldo was born in fukin Brazil and screwed his chances at a WC for the past 12 years with a great team. Neymar doesn't even get enough heat for that. Anyways, I hope Ronaldo finds a club that plays CL and gets to keep his record at least.
Also, Mbappe... man I hope he goes to the EPL. He'd get to prove himself much more. The dude has it all besides heading and is dangerous af. Honestly, he should've gotten player of the tournament. He's pretty much France attack and ice cold with his mentality. The most dangerous player in the final srs it would not have been such a great game without him.

Messi is the clear GOAT but Ronaldo is 5th all time for me. And tbf his Portugal team was waaay more stacked than Messi's Argentina. Felix, Fernandes, Pepe, Dias, Silva, Dias, Mendes, Cancelo. These players play for the best clubs in the world and are key players in their teams. The only stars Argentina had on paper was Dybala, Lautaro and Di Maria who were benched for most of the tournament. Messi played with average teammates the whole time but they made it work
I don't think he deserves the slander but he's always had a big ego and he's very selfish on the pitch. He's clearly declined and should play for an MLS club and ease into retirement

Who said this Portugal team isn't better than Argentina? Who mentioned Messi? Keep in 2014-17 Argentina was fully stacked team (better than this Portugal side) and Messi fuk all then retired when he missed pen in a final shootout. This can be the best Portugal team ever, but the thing is Ronaldo just happens to be on the decline just as the WC comes around. Keep in mind Ronaldo is two years older and at 35 was still scoring for fun at Juve and Man Utd. He's probably still decent enough to contribute, but definitely not to be the focal point of the attack. It's unfortunate, but declines happen and Ronaldo is unlucky that his whole 14-year prime has always been with a mediocre Portugal and just as a decent team forms he's on the decline and Fernando Santos is too defensively minded to take advantage of it.

Which is why CR7 needed to focus and not let his ego get the better of him.
Has a fantastic Portugal squad - so accept to being a bit time impact player, dont release a whackass interview on the eve of the tournament, and get your chit together by not storming off pitches etc and focus on winning like you always claimed to have been doing.

What's the interview got to do with Portugal? He was benched for Portugal and didn't cause a scene so what are you on about? One good game for Portugal don't make them world beaters. Santos should've started Ronaldo and Ramos, the team was the most dangerous and creating chances when both were on the field, but that's the thing Santos is a defensive minded coach that can't mount and offense for ****. He's relied on Ronaldo too long and didn't know what to do after Ronaldo declined.
Anyways, idc really I just hate the fact that the media has turned on Ronaldo so hard and some fans are ****ting on his achievements just because Messi has a good WC (with some dubious pens I might add)Manchester United

funny how every player on the Argentinian team plays in Europe though
only thing worse than a sore loser is a sore winner
Argentina has done this twice this tournament
Messi also coming short on his job as CAPTAIN here, he should intervene imo (especially since it's his teammate at PSG ffs)
really curious how he'll explain this to Mbappe on training+++ miscin' at work crew +++

They won 2016 Euros so they had a great team even 6 years ago and guess what? Ronaldo was on the bench in the knock-out stages so they still won without him.
Portugal also would've won this WC without CR7 but the same can't be said for Messi. His team wouldn't have been able to escape the group stages if it wasn't for him. Argentina are way too reliant on Messi and rightly so.

Ronaldo played the KO stages of Euro 16 and got injured early in the final. It's alright, you don't watch football so no need to say anything else to you really. Just lol at that Portugal side of '16 being good just fukin lol Ronaldo has carried that team since 2008 and finally this WC '22 is when they have a good squad and he declines. Goddamn, so unlucky. It's worse that the media not pins all the blame on his lol fukin lol. Aside from the interview with Piers Morgan and the way he acted with United the past few months which was terrible, well, there's not much else he could've done with Portugal. Dude's physical ability and football abilities just dropped because of age at the worst of times. Doesn't help that the coach is a retard that still plays hoofball with great players around him.

Fair enough, he helped them reach 2016 Euro final but they won without him in the final. He did well at United last season and I think he's still one of the best, if not the best player in that team. Yes he's declined a bit but it's more to do with his ego that he got benched I believe.
As hard-working as he is, he's a huge mental midget and throws a hissy fit when things don't go his way and blames his teammates. The type of petty player to insist that he scored a goal even if his teammates scored it. You'll never see that with Messi. He's a humble, servant leader. The type to give penalties to Neymar, Suarez and Mbappe just to get them involved in the game, that's why his Argie teammates are willing to die for him on that pitch

How is he the GOAT exactly without a WC and 3 less Ballon D'Ors than Messi? He's lucky to even scrape top 5 all time. Although for me he's 5th all time.
Most of the world already got Messi as number 1 all time GOAT even before this WC.
If your argument for Ronaldo being the GOAT is you had a crush on him as a teenage boy, he's a Portuguese Chad with abs and you fap to him regularly and he's a hard-working football machine, then it's not a valid arguement. Stop being in your feelings and try coming up with logical facts

not getting into the whole GOAT debate but the number of WC and Ballon D'Ors shouldn't even matter
the first because it's way too dependant on the country you're born in an the latter since it's a rigged af popularity contest (worst robberies being Sneijder 2010 and Lewandowski 2021 f.e.)+++ miscin' at work crew +++

Just stop lmao
Your arguments are illogical and baseless at this point. WC and Ballon D'Ors and champions league are the 3 biggest trophies in world football. Your first sentence alone is enough to admit you in a mental ward.
Also Messi could've chosen to play for Spain and won the 2010 WC but he stayed loyal to Argentina when they had a mediocre team until now.
Roaldo fans really out here suffering from delusion and mentall illnesses, damn

As much as I love Ronaldo .. he's not the GOAT.. he was so close, but how can you deny Messi is the GOAT having all the accolades he already had before the world cup, THEN seeing his performances in the world cup? Dude legit dominated that chit. As I see more and more people hate Messi the more I like him. Dude is hated for no reason.. it's easy.. just look at what he did in the world cup. Dude made it happen for Argentina at 35

Everyday more and more Ronaldo fanboys are giving up their denial and delusions and admitting Messi is the GOAT which is so obvious.
In the end I think only the Portuguese, Ronaldo's friends and family, his former teammates and PR team will still say he's "better".. But even then, deep down they know who the real GOAT is.
