Son is easy to cheer for even if he is a dirty Spur. I wouldn’t mind seeing SK make a run

People are really sleepin on this Portugal team well not this thread most of y'all know your futbol, but an ordinary fan.
No Diogo Jota either or Pedro neto out for injury.
When people think of Portugal they just think of Ronaldo.
Bernardo Silva is a possession machine his first touch is immaculate. Bruno Fernandes has had an amazing tourney he will only get better.
Ruben Neves doesn't even start and he can run a midfield. You got Rafael Leao who's a speed demon.
I know some people say that the defense can be a liability yes it can..that's true, but I still trust Cancelo, and Guerreiro at full back. Dalot has had an amazing season at Man Utd.
The weakness is Pepe. I like Ruben Dias a lot but together they can be prone to being too physical, but that will carry them through Switzerland, and then Spain. Spain will try that tiki taka again and Portugal will sit back like OK lets do it then. Also Spain have a lot of manlets in midfield and going forward at times.
In conclusion, Brazil will eventually beat Portugal in the final...Squad too deep.

LOL.
Seriously though, they did look pretty good for most of the game. Good form, players double their size and demanded new ways of competing for them for this run. Though that second goal conceded was pretty bad.
If they get a good forward, and a good defender they will dramatically improve. Although they need to work on first touch and ball control, there were instances where they couldn't control the ball. On top of that they need more midfield strength, because dominating the match entails controlling the centre pitch. Poor midfield game is easily exploitable and really underthematized, IMO.
They're a young team and only time and more time to learn.Back off, Warchild.
Seriously.

Yeah the Pulisic chance had to be made, but other than that they're a young team that are going to be so dope in 2026. Credit to Netherlands they exploited USA.
I've said it here I always thought Berhalter is a terrible coach/manager he has no idea what his best team is...How can you go into a tournament knowing there's 3 games, and potential knockout games and not know your best team....lol if you look at all the top teams right now they know what their best team is.
You can't just keep changing your CB partnership and your #9. Lol just screams that I don't know wtf I am doing.
Anyways, Brazil to win it all now at least Tite knows his best team lol especially with Neymar coming back.

I think Upemacano is vulnerable, and Lloris is past his best. Not having Pogba and Kante is really going to hurt France.
Lol Rabiot? Trash player. In terms of France Quality. Portugal will just drop back you would think play a high line but nope you play deep in your box so no runs in behind from dembele or Mbappe.
