I'm not a big fan of commercial gyms and don't have the room or the budget to set myself up with a great home gym, so was wondering, before I start putting out the feelers, if someone wanted to rent your home gym would you consider it?

This, plus allowing strangers into the gym goes completely against one of the reasons for having a home gym in the first place. Friends are welcome to come lift at times I'll be lifting, but I wouldn't even let them lift without me.
Either do something from the wide range of free/cheap ways to work out, or get a Planet Fitness membership for $10/month and suck it up until you can afford something else.

We very briefly considered it during COVID when things went crazy and people were renting out their home gyms for hundreds per month. Then we thought about the litigious society we live in, the disregard with which most people treat the equipment at commercial gyms, the fact that we would have people in our gym at all hours (thereby negating the #1 reason we started a home gym), etc. Nope, wouldn't do it.

One of my members rarely re-racks her weights, puts attachments back on the wall or returns barbells to the gun rack. If I'm working out when she comes in she starts hounding me with questions and form checks, which makes my workout take 3x as long. Nonetheless, the next time I see her in the gym she has ignored all of my feedback. I'd ban her, but she's my only member.

I can't imagine any situation where it would be worth renting it out, no matter who it is or how many people. It would have to be in a unit at another property, and then there's tons of considerations like liability, cleaning, etc.
Why do you ask? Do you have a personal trainer friend who wants to use it for training his clients? Just a guess. That's like a trainer's dream situation. Not so much for the home occupant.www.tworepcave.com
