47 is not that old, it not geriatric.
53 year old Ben Johnson can still run fast and he obviously hasn’t competed in years
People saying silva was old are coping hard. A person with that much experience that is considered a legend should not be getting beat by some dude that’s been training for 4 years.
Jake has shown what a joke the UFC is and how low the fighting skills are.

Jake Paul Beating Anderson Silva Shows What A Joke UFC is

You don't understand the complexities of the sport OP. This is not a surprise since you're a red alt vermin, but despite your red insect nature and childlike ignorance, you did manage to get halfway to the truth:
Anderson is still in reasonably good shape, and despite the fact that MMA fighters are not boxing in the cage, they're kickboxing (no need to go into the huge difference in footwork, movement, etc., if you want to know, go look into it), Anderson is a pretty damn good boxer, as evidenced by the fact that he beat Chavez, Jr. last year. And I also agree that 47 is not what it used to be. Look at NFL quarterbacks, Randy Couture, Ronnie Coleman, etc. Athletes in their 40's can still compete, even if it's not at their peak form anymore.
With all that said, yeah, Anderson is still a threat (maybe 70% of the threat he would have been at his peak). But the conclusion is not that MMA sucks based on all that information. The conclusion is simply that Jake Paul is actually pretty good, and that even after only three or four years of training, he's attained a level beyond what most would expect

agreed, but I don't think Anderson is nearly the threat he was at his peak. I think closer to 30-40%. Arguable whether he'd crack top 20 if he were to fight in the UFC at this moment, which I think a 70% version of a peak Anderson would. I think sometimes it's harder to "unlearn" certain movement patterns and habits when you've trained them all your life rather than coming in as an empty slate. But still, Anderson is pretty good. But Jake Paul is also pretty good, although I doubt he would be able to beat most competent boxers in their 20's and 30's. But we'd have to see maybe I'm wrong on that.

Every UFC fighter that Jake fought in a different sport was removed from the UFC for losing too much. And all were naturally smaller than Jake.
The other guys were late 30s and really small. Silver was almost Jakes size but then a full 10 years older than them and 22 years older than Jake.
Now Jake has called out Diaz, a guy who slurs his speech from brain damage, who is released from the UFC for being shot and losign too much, and naturally smaller than Jake.
The trend continues....

Is there video out of the entire fight?
I’ve started to see clips were Silva was toying with him in earlier rounds and then backing off instead of going in for the kill. Not saying it was rigged, but it tells a very different story.
Reminds me of the Floyd fight.
Reminds me of the Tyson Jones fight where Tyson was clearly taking it easy on him.
Edit: I also don’t care that much. I gotta give credit to Jake for how much he’s trained. He’s an athletic dude. Beating even a 50 y/o Silva is his most impressive fight.

with money and owning the promotion company controlling both sides.
Anderson dominated a highly experienced, real professional boxer, 61 pro fights, son of a legend, been boxing his whole life, but just 1.5 years later he legitimately can't beat Jake Paul at boxing? Jake Paul after training for a few years, never competed against a pro or even amateur boxer is a superior boxer than Chavez Jr? Anderson really couldn't figure out Jake's amazing complex strategy of just repeatedly throwing out left jabs trying to land a right hook exactly the same as he always does? Was Anderson really outmatched by Jake's amazing footwork, head movement, constant variance of attack angles that he just couldn't figure out how to effectively counter or initiate his own offense? Watch a professional boxing match and Jake Paul side by side, they are not doing the same thing at all.

I literally just made a thread saying the same thing. Wizard
Jake is so predictable , like how does anyone rate this guy highly? Always looking for a right hook. Hes terrible lmao
If Anderson silva genuinely lost he should be ashamed of himself. But if he took a dive he should also be ashamed for tarnishing his legacy, but I get it, money is money

You really want them to feed Jake Paul another undersized opponent? Just wait for the diaz fight to happen. He's at least a little bigger than Connor but Jake Paul is the grim reaper waiting to put the final nail in the coffin of washed up fighters. Even offering them a payday to sell their souls. He's a predator just like Connor when he goes looking for older previously concussed mma fighters like Donald Cerrone to beat up on.powerlifting meet PRs at 175lbs:
