Everyone knows this guy makes trash movies but he always seems to report these huge numbers for anything released.
I have a really hard time believing people are excited enough to go to his movies. I don’t care how many fans he has cause even his fans know his movies suck.
Only explanation these numbers are always faked. Only question is how?? If Biden can fake votes gotta think it’s a similar method for the Rock faking ticket sales.

Hollywood accounting is a real thing but I can believe that any movie with a really famous person is going to sell a lot of tickets.
That's why they pay them so much, having one or more major movie stars in your movie is going to sell a lot of tickets.
I thought Doom (2005) was pretty good when I saw it as a kid those first-person scenes blew my mind lol.

Simple OP, The Rock has been strategically building his name in China for a decade now. This was a decision his management company and he agreed on in order to become the biggest star in the world. The majority of his solo movies (Rampage, Baywatch, Skyscraper, Jumanji) are produced by China money.

Probably real numbers just like how Adam Sandler movies always make money. They are all the same romantic comedy, terrible to watch yet make a profit.

I'm a bit suspect of the idea that The Rock is one of the biggest blockbuster stars for the simple reason he only makes B level movies.
But then I thought about the fact that most people are morons and B level action/comedy flicks are about all most people will truly appreciate.
He's a big name and a larger then life character. The general public are morons.

You are underestimating the power of a couple million people doing something(which is only like a hundredth of 1% of the poplation). How do you think internet people make so much money?
