There are cars that have had a faster 1/4 time after adding the DA Adjustment to the raw 1/4 mile time such as 9.10 seconds 1/4 mile for the Bugatti Chiron SS in Car and Driver Testing, etc. That being said this is the best time a 100% stock production Internal Combustion Engine Car has ever gotten in the 1/4 mile in the real world without adjustment.
The Divo is actually the 2nd slowest version of the Chiron after the base model in the 1/4 mile so the Pur Sport, Super Sport, Super Sport 300+ and possibly other versions should all have better 1/4 mile times than the Divo.
The problem is that Bugatti Owners aren't the kind of people to take their cars to the drag strip.

^This. Drag times are fun but if you really wanna see what a car is capable of then take that bish to the track and see how it measures up. The rest of the world proves their sport/super cars worth at the Nurburgring not just 0-60 times. Chevrolet isn't afraid to send their cars to the real proving grounds against the Europeans and Japanese. Dodge use to send the viper, but Ford doesn't even want to compete with any of their line up. Still can't believe they never ran the Ford GT at the Ring. Only privately owned GTs have lap time there.

There's a lot more to drag racing than mashing the gas. You need to get the suspension tuned right to properly plant the tires to hook from a dead stop and not spin. It's more involved than you think. Braking is pretty important in drag racing too after a run in the shut down when you're slowing down from 140+.
Lap times are just as meaningless as drag times by your logic. The 1/4 mile or the 1/8 mile is testing a car as a total package. If you want to build for a track, go for it, but no one in the USA is going to be on the nurburgring, let alone tune their suspension for it.Worst jew in the world.
