Teared up.
Walked the hallways, didn't recognize a single face. Some of my friends back then have passed away, some live in different states. I just didn't recognize anyone and that was a really weird feeling.
Senior year, whole life ahead before the big world comes. Fun, house parties, gettin ready for college
Felt sad n nostalgic man

At 36 I would avoid walking through my highschool at all costs.
No thank you.
The mortality of it all.
The idea that these kids are walking through the building not even a whiff of knowing I was ever there. They dont know about my energy, the little stories of a certain hallway where something happened. Holy sh*t. Sounds terrifying.
Literally experiencing a type of living death. Eventually your mark on the entire world will fade the same way it faded from highschool.
F*ck

Yeah but the chicks just stay the same age (no ****)
Within three generations, not a single person on the planet will know your name nor your deeds. The universe just keeps on going as if you were never here. Your high school will eventually be demolished, it's name changed to something woke, and your accomplishments will fade into oblivion along with the rest of your existence.
But we are all made of stars.
