    Body-building meals for travels?

Anyone got any good suggestions for food to have on the road, i.e. when you don't have a fridge.

Sandwiches. Cold cuts of meat and salad is a good start. Things like ham are not to picky about not being in a fridge but you could get a portable coolbox.

I had chicken, gem lettuce + hot sauce in one and PB in the other today.

Boiled eggs, beef jerky, low fat cheese, fruit, nuts etc.

I put together a travelling meal list for myself, if anyone finds use in it all the better:

    Meals
    • Salad mix with olive oil, spices and boiled eggs.
    • Instant tomato soup with a boiled egg
    • Tinned mackerel on crisp bread with pizza spices. Heated or not.
    • Tinned liver pate with cucumber on crisp bread.
    • Beans, tomato and jerked meat (or mutton) and garlic spice. Heated or not.
    • Oat porridge w/salt and cinnamon, and preferably with some small packets of butter.

    Snacks
    • Carrots, cherry tomatoes
    • Pistachio nuts, cause they're harder to overshoot budget on, since less distracted eating

    Drinking
    • Protein shake.
    • Tea with sweetener. Sparkling water

McDonald's Mix-N-Match deal for around $3.50 depending on location (choose Spicy McChicken + McDouble). Surprisingly decent combo of cals + protein.

Thought I'd add a little diversity to the usual favorites of canned tuna, porridge, beans, etc. Plus easier to eat while driving.

If you are talking about trucking... Tuna is always good. Another easy thing is to just have a cheap hot water kettle you can plug it in at gas stations or truck stops... 1-2 scoops of protein powder, oats, handful of nuts, water (can add spices or honey) and real easy. Other option is just use instant oats and let sit for a bit to let the oats get soft and drink it all down. In terms of micros, greens supplements are good and grab fresh fruit and veg when possible.

Two McDoubles, ditch one set of buns and go 4 patties on one bun (or no buns). Easy protein for cheap.

    Would rep but cannot.

I had this exact order for lunch a few days ago.
    Bench: 325
    Squat: 405
    Deadlift: 505
