I know what you're thinking. It's not October. Thing is, October 1st comes and such a thread gets posted, you have to make an impulsive decision to join, success rates might fall. Doing "Early Access" gets you into the rhythm and habit, making October 1st even easier. I'll be TRYING to start tomorrow (09/20/2022).

To me Sober October means: No alcohol, No tobacco, Fap once a week (and not to pronz), no pronz, track macros, work out consistently.

Personal things I'm excluding: Weed and caffeine. Gotta live a little right?

Post your plans, and sign on up for Sober October, even if you decide to start specifically on October 1st.

In. May drink on Saturday then no more through October. Been working on some certifications for work so really need to buckle down and don’t want booze getting in the way. Last October was my first and made it 27 days before drinking, gonna lost the whole month this time. We got this brahs!

Cool thread idea, I'm in! I have already been in recovery since March 30th, so that will help. I'm not gonna have a goal of macros or diet, but I do intend to do some sort of daily exercise. And also, I have been doing monk mode, so no porn, no masturbation, or even no orgasm.

I know we can support each other in this thread, but I encourage others to look at the sober/recovery stickied thread. Also, if anyone is interested, I can provide an invite code for our sober discord chat.

You'll save some money, end the month leaner than otherwise, and potentially avoid some unwanted scenarios if you're one to sometimes go overboard.

DAS IT MANE. If I had such events planned in October I'd give myself a pass those days too, though I will say I'd add a few days into November to make up for it. You'll crush this one with ease.

Last time I did Sober October I intended to last 30 days, ended up going 45 just because I felt so good!

I'm in tomorrow Oct 1. I have my last couple IPA's sitting in the fridge for this evening, quit weed for my new job already. This is sober October, not track a bunch of weird chit month. Looking forward to liver gainz. Will push it through my birthday Nov 10 to get a full 6 weeks, supposedly enough time for a full liver rebound.

I imaging the lbs will come off - sitting at 217.5.
