Sleep schedule has been MESSED UP. I'm waking up right before work, as opposed to getting up hours early for gym + stuff. Staying consistent with the diet, no alcohol, no tobacco, at least. No fap is a failure this month in general smh.
Forgot to weigh in on time yesterday. Weighed in today, and come to realize I've lost 9.8 pounds since October 1st, down to 161.2.

Yeah I think it's pretty normal to overeat when trying to give up something like alcohol or cigarettes.
This month is def challenging for me. My neighbor BOOed me last night which meant candy. Sent that home with bf to keep away from me. lol Then tonight I had to go buy candy so I could BOO two of my neighbors and wanted to get candy bars for me too. I stayed strong and resisted and got them right out to their doorways to get it out of my house ASAP.
Just start over the next day. No biggie.
Sounds like you're doing great overall. Keep it up!
Das it!~ In a world where you can be anything, be kind ~

Only groceries means zero restaurants. I make one exception, which is to get some rotisserie chicken from the local deli at a grocery store, still technically groceries right lol, only $7 for a full chicken?
No fap means no ejac at the least. But I make a point not to edge or anything too. If sex happens that's fine (no gf atm though). One exception is I'm cool with 1 fap a week on a Sunday, any other day or quantity = failure.
The last time I did the spreadsheet I did a very good job with it, I think it was May or June. Aimed for an A every day, so allowed one "No" (except alcohol) per day. It was way more green than that screenshot now, that's for sure. It just became a habit / routine, and my schedule was very open/free/predictable.
But this month is tricky, unplanned events, overtime, weird work days and events, some girl I've been trying to hang out with, video game raiding obligations in WOTLK Classic, etc.Last edited by Visel; 10-15-2022 at 01:44 AM.

Going strong. The first couple days were rough. Was getting the shakes, heart palpitations, crazy anxiety that felt like I was gonna have a heart attack. I’m 31 and detoxing takes a toll now. My nervous system finally getting back to normal and it feels great waking up feeling amazing.
Feels great, but gets a little boring at night time. Hang in there~ Pусский Бра Crew

Still going strong. Still no appetite. Not the worst thing, needed to lose weight. Gave up vaping as well.
I've been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other. So, I thought I could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. I felt like I was watching a dream I could never wake up from. Before I knew it, the dream was over.

Weighed in at 162 today. Went to a bar to catch part of the Cowboys game. Didn't drink though, just diet coke and some chicken tenders, wore a "Sober October" shirt I found off Amazon. Wasn't that tempted to drink tbh, especially since there weren't any available girls there. It's a different vibe to be at a bar sober, you can more easily spot how dumb/obnxious/loud other people can be. Some of the regulars told me they thought I looked leaner and with more muscle.
EDIT: Wanted to mention I started taking Creatine Monohydrate on 10/16. So I might have a little more water retention and weight cuz of that.Last edited by Visel; 10-17-2022 at 10:06 AM.

23 days complete after tonight. After about a week and a half, my libido has absolutely crashed. But i did some research and guess that is not uncommon, and can take months to really stabilize. Guess it makes sense when you think about how much alcohol damages you and messes with your hormones and brain chemistry
If those are your withdrawal symptoms, your probably going to want to stop for good. Read up on the Kindling Effevt-Engineering Crew

Made it down to 159.2 pounds today. That's 11.8 pounds since 10/01/2022. Did everything on my list today except no fap. Feels good mang. I think I want to get and stay around 155 pounds for a good while, and I'll take into consideration if 150 pounds is worth trying out.
You know, when you look at your weight over a long stretch of time, especially taking into consideration each day's alcohol / Calories consumption, you begin to realize that drinking/cheat-days once a week is not it mane, maybe once every two weeks (and if you have any planned events or holidays, to plan your bi-weekly cheat days to be those days). 1k Calories splurge on alcohol is not hard to do, especially with beers or sugary mixed drinks. Same goes for food, 1k Calories splurge on a carby or fatty cheat meal. Or if you're like me and sometimes do BOTH (enough alcohol can give me munchies), that can be 2k+ Calories excess in one day. If you do 1k excess every week, you gotta make up for it with ~165 Calories per day deficit (1 day cheat, 6 days disciplined). If you do 2k excess every week that turns it into ~330 Calories per day deficit, just to make up for the 1 day per week. Way easier to spread such a cheat over a 2 weeks interval instead.r9 5900x stock | 1800mhz fclock

Nice mang. How tall are you if you don't mind me asking? I'm 5'10, I feel like 155 is a great weight that gives me self confidence, I feel energetic, cardio is easier and more tempting to do, etc.
I've never tried 150, but if you look at Jackie Chan, his e-stats were 5'8 and 140-145 lbs - they say every inch = 5 pounds for males, so 150-155 lbs is the spot for 5'10. Bruce Lee was 5'7 125-135 lbs in Enter The Dragon (he started at 135, but the movie took so long to produce and his workouts/stunts/choreography took so much that he was down to 125 lbs by the end), so in 5'10 terms that'd be 140-150, but chit that seems like a bit much when you say it outloud.r9 5900x stock | 1800mhz fclock

Update - weighed in today at 160.2 lbs. Still going strong on no alcohol. I think taking creatine everyday is causing some added weight fluctuation lately, I've been hitting decent deficits but the "loss train" is slowing down.
Some planned events have been cancelled, and TBH I've been playing video games (WoW WOTLK guild raids, and CoD: MW2 campaign) far later at night than I should. These things ruined a lot of my sleep schedule lately, so work days I've been unintentionally missing the gym. Gonna fix that tomorrow though.
I smoked a Black & Mild yesterday, first one since pre-October, and it felt harsh and tasted differently than I remembered. Not a very pleasant experience tbh. Been doing nicotine vape pens a bit and gonna stop everything nicotine/tobacco related after this one I got runs out.
Alcohol has been kind of tempting at times, just because I liked how I remember it feels. If I vape a little weed though, then any such temptation is gone.
I still think my goal of 155 lbs by end of the month is good to go.

Should I drink today or nah?
Like 2 months ago I was invited to this outside-of-work event, which is this afternoon (less than an hour). We're doing some kind of sport, think it's bowling, and with like 15 people who are in my department. Everyone's gonna be getting beers.
I figure it's 10/24 I proved a good run, and even went to a bar once without drinking. I can make up for this drink day by adding a day of no drinking into November. What's miscs thoughts?
Weighed in at 158.8 lbs today btw.r9 5900x stock | 1800mhz fclock

Still in. About a month and a half in right now. The issues I've described in a previous post are most likey not booze related like I thought but I'll still have to avoid for a while to let the nerves heal. Right now I'm aiming for Vegas in December to have that first drink in months depending on how I feel. Either way this was a nice reset that I needed. No more getting tanked every weekend for no reason at all. I can use this time to drop 10-15 pounds and get my blood pressure down a bit to a more normal level. But that first beer will taste delicious in a couple of months if all goes well.
