    Sucrose vs Fructose

    Hello everyone.
I have a question - do humans have gut bacteria for both sucrose (table sugar) and Fructose (fruit)?
Is there sucrose gut bacteria that die off when you only eat fruit?

Idk but I don’t think either two are that big of a problem over sources of food and how it’s processed

It’s funny seeing people complain of a sugar in a detox for example while they’re stuffing down processed chips and canned foods daily

I don't think gut bacteria are necessary for processing such simple carbohydrates. And humans can certainly process both since they are usually both present in things like table sugar.

It's funny seeing people make diets into religions too. Veganism, Carnivore, etc. It saves their soul, but I guess when people stopped going to church they needed something else.

I know I hear the words "gut bacteria" used a lot over the last few years. From what I know eating a balanced diet is still key to having good gut bacteria or overall nutritional health, if you will. If not you'll have the bubble guts, and nobody wants that.
