i got some cash here and along with a trade in. i was told by this store that both the series X and the PS5 are in stock

the xbox, i already own a S but i want to run my games at 60 fps and use my disc games. i also have 2 years worth of gamepass

the ps5, its $100 with a extra controller and game. i want to play spiderman and god of war at 60 fps plus returnal, ratchet and others

Most noteworthy PS exclusives have come to PC or are coming to PC. At least Xbox gives you a relatively cheap GamePass machine.

Just depends what you are looking for. PS5 has by far the best games. Xbox has gamepass and if you want to get access to a lot of game for low cost is probbably still your best option. Both PS5 and Xbox SX have similar hardware specs and access to many of the same 3rd party games. Nintendo Switch is a joke as far as hardware but has a portability feature and a large library of critically acclaimed child friendly games.

Xboxcels here will call me a fanboy for saying this but I think with the recent addition of PS+ Extra which is very similar to GamePass, PS5 is probably the best choice for most adults. Better games make for better gaming. I guess the major question is, is it worth the higher cost for you?

No point getting an XSX if you already have an S and/or PC. Just buying 3 platforms to play the same games on. PS5 is the only console with exclusives and they're all extremely good. Is this really a question?

then buy the PS5 so you can have access to all the games from all consoles and you aren't worried about missing out.

Xbox was the better choice with gamepass but PS got their own now too with PS exclusives added on as well and they've added 1440p for us monitor brahs.

Ghost of tsushima should be your #1 game to play.
Easy but fun.

If you already got the S might as well get the PS5. I'll probs be selling my Xbox X soon as they're not making any decent exclusives from what I've heard.

Remember when they had Saints Row, Halo, Gears, Left 4 dead(console exclusive), forza, gta iv DLC, fable, alan wake..

i went with the sereis X. i got it on saturday morning with cyberpunk 2077.

i like it so far aside i already played alot of what gamepass ahs to offer.
but thankfully i can go out and buy more games for it for like $10.

plan to still buy a ps5 next year. and probly DONE with pc gaming unless prices for gpu's and VR drop dramatically.

I still use gamepass on my one and can't see any reason to get the series x over ps5 when the exclusives I want are playstation, so I went with Ps5. Right now I'm Ps5, One, and switch. I get my next gen fix with exclusives I want, a large library of older games on gamepass, and nintendo to fix my family multiplayer and indie gaming on the toilet itch.

maybe sell your s/trade it in so you can play your disc games if you really want to play them and then buy ps5 on msrp somewhere. why not get both if funds allow, it seems like you could find uses for both.

It just depends on your preferences really. Either is fine for multiplayer games. SX is good for Game Pass, PS5 is better for campaign people.

go look at the games that are out for both consoles PS5 and Xbox and see which games you want to play.. get the one with the games you really really want.

All 5 of them. Everything else is on PC or PS4 these days. So unless those 5 games are a big deal to you, you're better off with a PC or just getting an Xbox as a Gamepass machine.

Objectively PS5 is just better and even though the list is small, it has more games than Xbox.

Have owned a Switch, PS5 disc, and now a Series X (Halo edition). As soon as Sony releases a PS5 slim (I’m thinking a less ugly console in all black), I’ll immediately switch back to PS5. Sony controller is considerably nicer both in terms of ergos (imo the xbox controller feels too small) and especially in quality. I’m on my third Elite controller in the like 9 months or whatever that I’ve had it. There are also just ease of use things I prefer about the PS5, including the fact that it’s never down while I’ve had XBL go out on me at least a few times.
