In my opinion it is due to white leftists believing they can control hispanics. Hispanics have tended to vote for the Democrat party and Democrats hope the more hispanics brought into America and legalized to vote, the more votes Democrats will receive.

As has been noted of late though, hispanic voters are upset with Democrats. They have not surprisingly been turning more toward the GOP party of late, due to Biden and the Democrats polices of promoting more crime, the open southern boarder and the many problems that is causing, lousy schools, high inflation, etc.

As some are speculating if hispanics begin to vote for the GOP more often, which I hope they do, then some have speculated that Democrats will begin to call for securing our troubled southern boarder.

Between living in New Mexico and now San Diego, I personally know 3 families that have done this. Its not unheard of for people (mainly other mexicans so there's not much of a language barrier) to house illegals that come across the border. As of about March of this year, I know of one couple thats doing it here in San Diego. They're really well off though. The husband (my former boss) was the former Microbioogy Director at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and I believe his wife is an actuary. They live in a 4 bed 3.5bath house in Poway (expensive area) and even have a small secondary home in their backyard with its own indoor plumbing. They usually take in a family of migrants at a time. He helps them get on their feet then sends them on their way after a few months.

They don't have kids so I'm guessing thats why they have so much free time to tend to random families.
