The only decent explanation I heard about switching up the fights was Conor promising a trilogy with Nate if he won so UFC didn't want to give even the slightest chance of losing out on that huge PPV. Nate wins, Conor has more to win in the trilogy, he accepts it, UFC makes a chit ton of money and by next Sunday, people will have already forgotten what a chit show 279 was with Walker being thrown out onto the streets, Barnett getting left in front of the hospital to take an Uber home and the fight mixups.

Did anyone else feel like the rearranged fights were lackluster? Besides Khamzat, no one looked like they giving it their all.
I dunno if it was the fact they were feeling extra cautious with new opponents, or maybe just lackadaisical since they already got paid, but they honestly looked like sparring sessions.

Looks like Kumshot might be done at 170.
If he gets a big win at 185, he will be right in line for Izzy (if he beats Pereira) because there is no one else really and it would be a legit superfight. If he goes to 185 for a few fights, naturally puts on some size, gets a bit older, I can't seem him ever making 170 again. It was always a brutal cut.
