All three of my redraft teams are 2-0 so far with very little overlap in players (my dynasty team is still rebuilding, so no 'ship for that one this year...). Feeling great so far, although it's obviously still way too early to start celebrating.
I'm looking at Taysom Hill as my priority waiver pickup this week. Jameis apparently has broken transverse processes in his back, which is painful as chit, so I expect Hill to start picking up more QB snaps, especially goal line packages, along with the handful of gadget plays he's getting. If Kamara is still out (and Ingram looks cooked), he may even get some run at RB. Depending on how his usage goes, he could end up as a TE cheat code.

I need a PPR flex between A-Rob, Henderson, and Palmer. A-Rob and Palmer are also my backups for Gabe Davis, so if Davis can't play, which one to start and would you flex the other over Henderson?
A-Rob was drafted to be a starter for me and bounced back somewhat last week, but the Game 1 usage floor was frightening. Palmer might have to contend with Keenan for targets again, but Keenan might also be on a pitch count if not 100%. Akers worked his way back into the Rams RB rotation, but Henderson was still the better of the two on the field.

Thanks (on spread). I think that's the way I'm leaning right now. The week 1 dud made me panic, though, because Stafford didn't even look for him, instead throwing every ball to either Kupp or Higbee. Fortunately, Allen, Davis, Chase, and the GB RB duo made A-Rob's dud irrelevant.
This is my money league team. I really love how it's constructed with the Allen-Davis stack and starting both GB RBs instead of playing roulette with one of them. No matter what happens, one will be an RB1 and the other an RB2 (or if one is hurt, the other will come close to RB1 overall...). That's a really safe floor with a huge upside. I got Jones in round 2 then reached for Dillon in round 5. I would do it again if there is another duo who are both standalone starters.

I offered CEH for Lamb but he wants another WR thrown in. My lowest option is Julio and I picked him up on waivers so it’s not a big loss for me. I have Godwin too once he’s back.
Thoughts on CEH and Julio for Lamb? I’ve got Jones and Swift as my backs with Henderson and Hall as my bye week options. WR will occupy both flex spots. I’m just not sure on CEH and that committee backfield.(they/them) #ProudVegan We can beat this! Triple Vax. Wear Two Masks (one FFP2/3). Get a Covid Passport. Don't forget your Booster(s)! Man this is a tough one. I've felt burned by CEH in the past and have zero shares of him this year but this could finally be the breakout he was supposed to have last year.
My worry with Lamb is he might be good with the backup but then Dak gets rushed back and he'll be off the rest of the year.
Two players who are really hard to evaluate right now.
Who are your other WRs?

Tyreek, Thomas, Aiyuk, Godwin, Julio, Claypool are my receivers. He specifically said no Claypool or I would’ve offered him lol.
He said he may be interested after this week depending on CEHs usage. He’s 2-0 so he can ride out CeeDee. Had he been 0-2 he would’ve already accepted or so he said.(they/them) #ProudVegan We can beat this! Triple Vax. Wear Two Masks (one FFP2/3). Get a Covid Passport. Don't forget your Booster(s)! I just traded Zeke for Aiyuk (full PPR) because, YOLO. This is my neighborhood league. There are 2 or 3 of us who know what we're doing and win every year (I've won 3 of the 8 years I've been in it and in the finals 2 other years, LOL) and a bunch of morons. My buddy Chris who runs the league has a superteam this year, and I need to take some chances to catch up, and I think Aiyuk's upside is pretty massive with Jimmy G now running the show (and Deebo wasting time at RB and Kittle eternally injured). Zeke is a volume based low RB2 who will be consistent with a couple upticks based on TDs, but really, he's looked cooked so far this year and Pollard is way better. It leaves me a little thin at RB, but I'll figure it out. It will help tremendously if Rhamondre finally takes over the NE backfield (I know, I know, no one actually ever takes over a Belichik backfield...). He is actually the most talented guy they have there. After the trade was accepted, I took a flyer on Jordan Mason because Wilson isn't going to last much longer before he's hurt and Ty Davis-Price is injured now as well.
I was actually targeting Aiyuk as a later round value pick but it never worked out.

A couple days ago I tried sending the opposite offer of Aiyuk for Zeke in my 14 team PPR league. Totally faded Zeke in the draft but Aiyuk is my WR5 in a league I can only start 3 and my RBs are super thin with Barkley then a bunch of JAGs behind him.
Basically laughed at me even though I think it's a lot closer than draft capital suggests. Zeke will still get most of the touches but he's losing the receiving work so he's quickly becoming TD or bust in a currently Cooper Rush led offense.

Yeah, they are ships passing in the night now compared to the draft. The Lance injury is a big plus for Aiyuk, whereas Zeke definitely looks cooked. Zeke dropped to the 4th in this draft, so I thought that good enough value to take him as an RB2 hoping he'd have some sort of renaissance this year after battling nagging injuries last year, but it doesn't look like that's happening, and with Dak out, his TD potential will be dragged just because the whole offense isn't as good. I thought there's no way I would get refused at this point asking for Aiyuk for Zeke, but I think that has the upside potential to be a really good deal for me when all is said and done.
In a 14 team league, though, there is a higher scarcity premium on RB compared to WR than a 12 team league, too.

It is laughable. Zeke is like a 3rd round guy while Aiyuk is a 10th-round guy. We have two weeks' worth of data so we can adjust our rankings a little bit but nothing has happened to shift our valuation to the point where they would be comparable.
Why do you think Aiyuk has massive upside? Aiyuk is the 3rd option w/ a QB who avg 250 yards per game.Last edited by dyee4613; 09-22-2022 at 05:17 PM.

He's not really a third option. He and Deebo have different roles, especially if they are forced to continue using Deebo in the hybrid "wide back" or whatever with SF unable to keep any actual RBs healthy yet again. Aiyuk and Kittle are the two primary downfield options, and Kittle can't get on the field, either. He had 8 targets as soon as Jimmy G got back in control last week and averaged 7 targets per game and 15 PPR points over the second half last year after he got out of Shanny's doghouse. I'll take that for sure over a broken down RB who is clearly worse than his backup. Draft capital is irrelevant once the season starts.

All that matters is where they'd go if the draft was today and Zeke would be much further down the board. Try and trade for Amon-Ra at 5th-6th round value and see what the owner says lol.
FWIW in my last snake right before the season Zeke went in the 4th and Aiyuk went in the 8th so that's not like they were that far apart.Last edited by WHChampion; 09-23-2022 at 07:05 AM.

Anyone have Cleveland D? Going to be some salty people if they’re playing against them and they lose by 3 points.
