Yeah, I'm rolling with Williams this week and hoping he plays more than one play. A win this week against a 4-9 team will clinch a playoff spot, but I should get in anyway. There is currently one team in first at 9-4, 4 at 8-5 (including me), and 3 at 7-6 (and a couple dregs teams...) for 6 playoff spots. I hope I don't actually need much from Williams, but it would be nice to see him get back on track.

Good luck to you fantasy brahs trying to clinch a spot in the playoffs today.
My team is in already, but trending badly. The possibility of me winning the regular season is there, but also could drop to 3. Barkely being 50/50, Andrews underwhelming, and A. Jones on a bye is not helping. My lineup this week is ugly.
Go get it boyos.

Williams looked great in his return. Hopefully, he keeps up the momentum. I'm up 90 with Conner to play, so I'm safely in. I also have the top score in the league this week and leapfrogged one of the other 8-5 teams above me in total points (the lone 9-4 team won, so he is guaranteed to win the regular season at 10-4). I need to about 50 from Conner to catch the last 8-5 team and get the bye for 2nd place, LOL.
I love Yahoo projections. I'm up by 90 and have Conner to play while he's done for the week. Yahoo lists me as having a 99% chance of victory (and him 1%). Really? 99% is it? There's a 1% chance that Conner will score -91 points? LMAO.

agreed but with Andrews you can't sit the guy and he's out there all game. he's getting targets albeit it garbage ones. i'm just going to trot him out there and cast my fate to the wind at this point. same thing with Saquon and other big names that are looking tired at this point. you aren't sitting these guys in playoff games.
i think Waller owners will be in for a tough decision next week if he's going to try and play.

Feels good watching my rival in one league lose 4 straight and miss playoffs after saying weeks ago if I didn't accept his poverty trade offer I'd miss.
Even better he had a team full of what should be studs (Jefferson, Cook, Higgins, Waddle, Kamara, Metcalf) and lost to a team starting 2 players on bye.Last edited by WHChampion; 12-12-2022 at 02:13 PM.

Needed to win one of my last two to guarantee a playoff spot against league’s worst two teams..they both have their best games of the season and score 150+ I lose both…luckily it looks like I’m gonna get in on the 6 seed because I hold a bunch of the breakers and the guy I need to lose is getting buried..

In one of my leagues I have to outscore the guy I'm tied with based on record by 16 points to make the playoffs. We're probably both going to win our matchups so I'm pretty sure the point tiebreaker will be the deciding factor here.
I need to pick two from this group of WR:
Higgins (who is Q from the hamstring) @ TB (Sun 4:30)
Cristian Watson vs. LAR (Mon)
DJ Moore (Q from the knee issue) vs. PIT (Sun 1:00)
Mike Williams vs. TEN (Sun 4:30)
Treylon Burks (Q from concussion) @LAC (Sun 4:30)
Jameson Williams @NYJ (Sun 1:00)
TBH I feel like Watson is a lock from this group personally but I thought I'd throw him in there and let everyone pick two in case others see it different."One day I won't be able to lift any more. I lean Denver after the news with Murray done. I understand McCoy has been able to do a decent job in place of him but that offense isn't what it used to be without Murray.
The Saints D I just don't know. Ridder is like an unknown so I shy away from this one for that reason. Falcons are technically in the playoff hunt too and it's a must win.
Washington isn't a bad choice and the Giants are a complete sh*t show right now so that's not necessarily a bad play. It's between Denver and Washington to me. Like I said I lean Denver but I can get on board with playing Washington as well. Washington and the Giants both sacked the living sh*t out of each other in their tie recently as well. 9 sacks between the both of them lol.... granted they played a full OT but still...."One day I won't be able to lift any more. Need some help deciding who to start at flex this week. 2 spots. Not sure how much to trust Kittle and Aiyuk but Purdy seems ok.
Swift, Gallup, Aiyuk, L. Murray
Kittle or Freirmuth for TE? Seems like I’ve made the wrong choice every week for that one.(they/them) #ProudVegan We can beat this! Triple Vax. Wear Two Masks (one FFP2/3). Get a Covid Passport. Don't forget your Booster(s)! Asymptomatic long covid survivor

Ok which of these waiver scrubs would you play in PPR if Higgins can’t go this week?
Elijah Moore - (only if Davis is out) - good matchup vs. Detroit
Datson or Curtis Samuel - both put up good games last time vs NYG
Paris Campbell or Alec Pierce - should have game script helping their numbers vs Minnesota

This is a tough call. If Trubisky is playing, knock Freiermuth down a bit. He also only played 57% of the snaps last week because of a lingering injury and Carolina isn't bad vs TEs this year (and they are playing well under Wilks as he seems to have them motivated by the owner trying to tank the season). Purdy really impressed me last week. He looks like the real deal, with the small sample caveat so that there is still risk trusting him too much yet. With Deebo out, both Kittle and Aiyuk are going to get more looks (although CMC is probably the primary beneficiary).
For each decision individually, I'd probably pick Kittle and Aiyuk, but taken together, I'd be a little leery of taking both receivers for an unheralded rookie QB no matter how good he's looked in 2 games. Therefore, I think I'd play either Freiermuth and Aiyuk or Kittle and Swift. If Pickett is cleared, then definitely Freiermuth and Aiyuk.

i hate to do this at the QB position so late in the year but here we are. my 'other' team is in the first round of the playoffs. Tua is my QB. my WR1 is Tyreek so it made sense for a time, but lately.........Tua stinks. and he's AT Buffalo and it may snow.
do i ride this out and stick to my guy or do i make a last minute change. Available:
Wilson vs AZ (highly questionable he plays)
Mike White vs DET
Carr vs NE
Dalton vs ATL
Darnold vs PIT
Ryan @ MIN
Purdy @ SEA
I can just as easily talk myself out of any of these guys. so perhaps i stick with Tua and go down with the ship.

Mike White is the only one I'd consider. Detroit games are generally track meets and White isn't afraid to throw it around the yard. The snow is supposed to stop by game time in Buffalo, but it is still going to be cold and windy. Regardless, not the potential blizzard conditions that were possible a couple days ago.

Freiermuth was out of practice today and with the 49ers playing tomorrow I guess Kittle slots in there. Leaning Aiyuk and Swift for flex. The Denver offense is just trash so even if Murray got every carry they aren't putting up any points. I just have to hope Hill doesn't end up sitting or I'd be in a bind.
