I am from the country, my family hunts and I've hunted many times. I have no issues with hunting...

...I have an issue with some "outdoorsmen", however. Some of outdoorsmen literally slaughter anything that moves for fun. They arent shooting pests, they arent shooting threats and they arent shooting for food. I watched an 'outdoorsmen' shoot turtles and crows for 30 minutes...Bro what is wrong in your heard that you need to slaughter animals for 30 minutes straight? If its a wild boar shredding your land or a cayote eating your chickens, I get it...but turtles?

hunted my entire life its my obsession and i agree. there is plenty of dudes out there like that though. but sometimes rabbits can be pests and need to be killed to be removed. i dont know about this case though

Also, I’m not a vegan but unless you’re religious, you have absolutely no basis for claiming higher ground over animals. You accept that from a scientific perspective, you’re just an animal on top of the food chain. brb, my first thought when encountering a random rabbit in the wild is to blast his head off for fun. i encounter rabbits all the time while running trails. all they do is just run away from you when you get close so not sure how it bothers anybody unless they're stealing all your lettuce and carrots and chit in your garden.

We're only getting the woman's side on it, but no this was not the story of someone removing a nuisance. Killing to eat or for a reason is one thing, killing for fun is another.
