ITT we post what we are stockpiling, discuss our strategies and what we think will cause civilizational decay or collapse. Any thoughts of analysis is also appreciated.

I've been stockpiling food and water since early 2020 + vitamins, pharmaceuticals (mainly for trading) etc.

My food stores have a lot of canned goods, with a lot of coconut oil and whey protein powder. Lately I've been buying cold filtered whey powder as it retains a lot more nutrition. I have close to 100kg worth of stored food.

I have a garden and greenhouse which grow tomatoes, gooseberries, cucumbers, blackcurrants, black berries, potatoes, strawberries etc. All food waste goes back into composting. Looking into getting chckens. I store water in water barrels to always make sure I have water for growing.

Where I live guns are illegal (gay) but I have a couple of crossbows, recurve bow etc.

I have options for complete collapse like detailed camping inventories and supplies and a "bugout" location, which would be my very last resort as I primarily intend to "bug in" to ride out most of it.

Thinking about stockpiling seeds and planting various trees and crops in various countryside locations as a way to make a "garden of eden" if things go south.

I am no longer in the city and live in a pretty rural location so this reduces a lot of danger imo with rioting and looting.

I am expecting the elites to continue and ramp up their war on food and do a Holodomor 2.0. If you look at the history of the 20th century you will see hundreds of millions dead through famine by their own govts. The precedent has been well set through history, it is tried and true and a reality of modern life, unfortunately.

I have some friends who live on an island in the Med. They tell me they are eyeing the wild donkeys to use as transportation once the Russian oil sanctions hit.

Few buckets of rice, flour, beans, and sugar. Thinking about adding a bucket of oats and calling it good. If I need more than that fukk it eating a bullet.

You have to be careful with stockpiling food. I've run into this where canned goods expire and I don't keep on top of them. My aunt even had canned goods explode in her container and it was a huge mess.

My biggest concern is if an earthquake hits as I lived through the bad earthquake of 1989 in San Francisco. I still feel PTSD when the ground shakes as I literally thought the roof was going to cave in during that earthquake. I was on the second floor and it was a bad one.

I just bought a 24 cu ft chest freezer and ordered half a cow

Where I am, if **** hits the fan, it will be easy to bring a few hundred kg of rice, food, etc out to my cabin in the woods.

Tons of deer, mushrooms, rabbit, waterfowl, and fish, and lots of beaver and other critters to trap in winter.

Its what I do anyway, and I already do not buy meat. Multiple freezers always full. Drying meat is just another step after butchering.

Here is a question.. Can you put a price on what you think you need for whatever disaster? How much have you invested into your prep?

And futhermore, if you were to put a price on it, is prepping the way you are really the best use of that money/time/resource or could you put that money to better use by other means?

It seems when people consider prepping it is done little by little. Has anyone started with a plan before doing anything? Or does everyone start with rice and guns? How much rice and how many guns do you need?

If you had 500grand to blow on **** to prep for you favorite disaster/collapse scenario but had to do it all in one shot, how would you do it?
